Every name on the guest list is a button. Tap it and it turns green. Package guests, spectators and rentals are counted separately.

A parent texts a list of names the night before? Paste it in and each name becomes a guest.
The bill builds itself
Extra guests, rentals, pizza and pitchers add up as they happen. The deposit comes off, and the balance is ready to charge on the card reader.

With menu boards, the birthday kid's name scrolls across the screens during their party.
No clipboard, no crossing out
The party starts when the birthday kid checks in. Everyone else is a tap. Show the list to the parent at the end, or print it.
Each staff member signs in with their own PIN, so you know who checked who in.
No surprises at checkout
The bill is line by line, built from what actually happened. Show it to the parent, then charge the balance on Square.
Taking money off the bill is a separate permission. Most staff can add to a party; only the people you choose can discount one.
